Quebec is rich in a culinary culture that must be discovered.
The magazine Caribou was born out of a crazy idea: to highlight the culinary culture of Quebec at a time when many wondered if Quebec really had such a culture. First magazine about cooking but without any recipe, Caribou is for all those interested in agri-food, food, history, design and Quebec.
Their first issue published in October 2014 under the theme Les Origines, was focusing on the history, typical dishes and actors of Quebec cuisine. They finished the experiment convinced more than ever that Caribou had its place.
Each issue of Caribou features local journalists, writers and artists who, through their quality texts and generous art, portray Quebec's culinary culture in stories, artistic projects and chronicles.
The magazine was founded in Montreal in 2014 by Geneviève, Audrey and Véronique, all editors and co-editors.
