Montreal, QC, Canada

July 2017 - We decided to open our first storefront in the heart of the Plateau-Mont-Royal. A space featuring Quebec-made furniture only, designed by our friends at IVY STUDIO. No hard feelings, Sweden.

As you approach the building, you quickly notice a fir tree logo cut out of a long sign bearing the company's name in its original handwritten font.

A narrow, all-glass façade welcomes the clients by exposing the store's pristine white interior that contrasts with the original rough concrete floor.

The store is organized into different product categories: a large communal table for the kitchen area, frosted shelves for the beauty area, large mirrors for jewelry, a lounge area for stationery and magazines, and a wall of small round shelves for the few featured items.

The soon-to-be drooping plants will lower the high ceilings while adding color and liveliness to the decor.

The countertop's color and texture, combining stained wood and marble, stands out nicely.

Punctuated by islands of colored touches, the white and refined background highlights the products.

Big space, small shop.
